Moving On Purpose (& with Magic): When Focus Moves from Outcomes to Intentions

Moving On Purpose (& with Magic): When Focus Moves from Outcomes to Intentions

Today I want to talk about what happens when you move from focusing on outcomes to focusing on intentions.

As many of you know, I’m a walking embodiment of all of my channeled methods. Whether you’re working with my Marketing Methods (which are The L.I.F.E. Method, The S.O.U.L. Method and The L.O.V.E. Method) or my Money Methods (which are The D.E.B.I.T. Method, The C.R.E.D.I.T. Method and The R.O.S.E. Method), I’ve lived them and continue to live them.

One of the foundational principles of The Money Methods is living with intention, which means dropping the need to focus on outcomes. And I think this is where a lot of people get stuck with their manifestations. The old paradigm of manifesting requires that we get really clear, really specific about our desires and focus only on them and generate the internal “knowing” that that specific thing is ours. Now, I don’t necessarily disagree with this philosophy; I just think it needs a bit of updating to allow for more freedom and sovereignty within the work of manifesting.

Because there are a few ways that focusing on the outcome can be detrimental.

Firstly, when we get hung up on an outcome or a specific result, we have a tendency to cling. We cling onto all of the aspects of it and the outcome becomes an expectation. But part of manifesting requires that we detach ourselves from the specific outcome so that we are no longer chasing it. Remember, if we’re chasing something, it’s running from us. And so, we detach so that it’s no longer something we need. Our happiness isn’t dependent on it. We are happy no matter what because who we are – our essence – is worth more than that specific thing.

Secondly, when we focus on an outcome or a specific result, we get hyper focused on “getting” something versus experiencing it. And let’s be real, the experience is what we really want. This is why many of us feel unfulfilled when we finally get something, when we finally get that end result. And we’re like, oh that was it? We’re completely forgetting who we became in the process of receiving it. We’re completely forgetting what we learned about ourselves and others while we were taking the action steps towards it. We’re completely forgetting that the act of co-creation is creating life itself. It’s not the end result of the creation that we desire. It’s the creative process that brings us the most fulfillment.

Finally, when we are so attached to an outcome or specific result, we are out of integrity with our purpose. If you have a calling, you’ve made a commitment with the divine and your higher self to execute that calling and fully see it through. You have a higher purpose that was instilled within you by a higher power. That’s why it’s called a calling – your soul path and career path are uniquely intertwined. It’s not only what you do. It’s who you are. And so when you focus solely on outcomes on your path, you’re missing the entire point of living out your calling. Intention requires presence with the here and now. It requires that you move with integrity towards what you want to experience based on what you value. It doesn’t ask for a final product. It asks you to move towards it, regardless of how it turns out.

When you move with intention, instead of with a specific outcome in mind, you not only release the pressure valve that is full of constriction and expectations and fears, but you allow yourself to fully engage in the process of co-creation which is actually the experience, not the outcome itself.

Now, here are a few things that I’ve noticed when I started to move with intention.

  1. You focus on the process instead of the end result.
  2. You focus on what you want to experience versus what you want to get.
  3. You open yourself up to possibilities instead of being constricted by expectations.
  4. You can be in the energy of what you desire to experience before it actually happens (thereby raising your frequency to that which you want to manifest).
  5. You move on purpose and in purpose.
  6. You desire to create more and consume less.
  7. You detach from the outcome and find fulfillment in the creative process of moving towards it.
  8. You allow for divine guidance and intervention, which in my opinion is the best part.
  9. Every area of your life becomes an experience that you actually want to show up for because you designed it that way, simply by your intention.
  10. You get to move with love and faith instead of fear, because when you’re tied to a specific outcome, that can quickly turn into pressure and tension.

Now, I used to be incredibly outcome oriented. I used to follow a task list and a series of to dos on a daily basis so that at the end of every day I could totally crash and think I had a great day simply because it was productive. Everything was essentially done and so that should leave me feeling satisfied and fulfilled right? Not quite.

As I started to allow The Money Methods to move through me, I started to see the areas of my life that lacked intention. They lacked the experience of moving with intention, of moving with love, of fully being present for the experience.

Because the experience is quite literally everything. The journey itself is the ultimate fulfillment.

The more intentional I became, the more fulfilled I felt, and therefore, the more on purpose I felt as well.

One of the purposes of my calling is to be a walking embodiment of what I channeled, as mentioned previously. But there are so many micro purposes within that purpose that make up the greater impact that I’m choosing to make in this life.

I desire to help others see their own divinity.  And believe in it.

I desire to help others acknowledge that they truly know more than they think they do, which is why all of my methods are rooted in self-discovery. We truly have all of the answers within us.

I desire to be a model of what life is like when you unravel and unlearn all of the broken and outdated systems of marketing and manifesting so that we can build businesses that are truly soulful and are built with heart.

I desire to be a light for those who are moving through the shadows and the darkness. They are never alone and the more they come home to themselves and receive more of themselves, the more they will start to see the light within themselves and become it.

This is all part of my purpose. The root of it is to move with love.

Every day is an opportunity for me to ask myself: What do I want to experience? As it relates to my enjoyment and love for life? As it relates to my greater impact within my calling?

I realized that my purpose – in every area of my life – is to move with love.

This is how I co-create. I move with the intention to move with love in everything that I do and I move with the intention to give and receive love everywhere I go.

I’ve spoken about this in a previous episode but energy is a frequency. It welcomes life. It is life force. It’s movement, it’s food, it’s love, it’s money, it’s health, it’s your dreams, it’s everything and everywhere. And, the higher the frequency, the more enjoyable the energy.

Quantum physics tells us that before matter, there is energy. The frequency of energy determines what type of matter we experience.

If love is the highest frequency of energy, that is the frequency you want to embody. This is so that you can experience the level of matter that comes from that level of frequency.

The Money Methods may sound like it’s all about money, but it’s actually all about love. Now, love is not money and money is not love, but the way we are with money is reflective of the way we are with love.
