My History with The Freebie
In an effort to be fully transparent with my business evolution, I wanted to provide a little peek into my experience with freebies over the last year or so.
Who has been here since my pivot? You may recall all of the different free guides and downloads I’ve offered. I had a daily/weekly alignment checklist. I had a few recordings of some webinars I did, along with corresponding workbooks. My most recent freebie was a protocol for deeper connection with your internal messages.
If you know me, you know that I’m a big fan of changing things up. (Gemini over here!) And so, when I decide to modify or completely switch up a free offering, it’s because I know my market needs something more, or something else entirely.
When you evaluate your freebie, is it converting the way you want it to? Is it valuable enough to turn heads? Will someone be willing to give you their email address in exchange for it?
If we want to be visible, we have to provide value… over and over again, but especially in our free downloads and guides. Are you giving your market the right glimpse of your work and expertise?
As someone who is exclusively offering e-learning opportunities now, my freebie has to be pretty specific to that model. It has to give a glimpse into what it’s like to learn from me. It has to give a preview of my teachings. I have to provide a brief opportunity for someone to engage with me in the only capacity I offer.
