The soulpreneurs who find me are truly that – soulpreneurs. They are building soul-aligned businesses, and to them, it’s more than a job or a career; it’s a calling. It feels as though their soul path and career path are uniquely intertwined and as though they’ve been given a higher purpose through a higher power.
Though, as they build it, they find themselves feeling completely out of alignment with what the current marketing and manifesting gurus are telling them to do in order to share their business with the world. They are asked to do more and be more, and because of this, they find themselves compromising their authenticity, their boundaries, their uniqueness and their wholeness.
Their businesses are no longer soul-aligned, and now these soulpreneurs are caught up in a broken and outdated paradigm of marketing and manifesting.
That’s because the old paradigm of marketing and manifesting is pulling you away from yourself, away from your truth, away from your light.
From my experience, and as a business owner myself for the past 12 years, you have done something for yourself that you now help others achieve. And this is the thing that matters so much to you about what you do. It’s not the natural byproducts of your work. It’s not the overarching benefits. It is the actual transformation you provide.
When it comes to marketing, you have to get to the heart of what you do, and that is found in how your essence reflects it. When it comes to manifesting, you have to shed everything that isn’t you, so that your essence can shine through.
Your essence is always required, and in this article, I’m going to share with you five reasons why.
Reason #1: When you work with your essence, you become insanely magnetic, which allows you to attract instead of chase and flow instead of force.
The manifesting gurus say this all the time: Your inner world creates your outer world.
The problem is that the manifestation matrix asks you to be more and do more without actually doing the inner work and creating the inner transformation that makes things happen without effort.
They give you the quick fix of “feel more of this” and “think more of that.” This might work for short term goals, but in the long term, you’re still the same version of you but exerting more effort than you want to be.
You can’t build an empire before you become the version of you who can have it. This means it won’t arrive until you do.
And people hate hearing this, because the inner transformation requires radical honesty and truth.
The neat thing about the process of becoming a newer version of yourself is that it’s already inside of you; you just need to release all of the older versions of you that are keeping you where you are.
As you release and detach yourself from old versions of you, you start to meet your essence. And that’s because we’re clearing and healing who you are. We’re allowing you to see more of your true self. In order for you to be the magnet that calls everything in, you need to step into the version of you who is making it happen.
Reason #2: When you work with your essence, you’re no longer relying on your outside world for direction, next steps or even validation. You just know how to move.
You know what to do because you know yourself. You trust your calling, and you’re committed to it.
It’s easy to get swept up in what we should do, what others are doing, or what the “experts” tell us is the right course of action. It’s easy to let our truth get lost in the noise.
But when you work with your essence, you remember what you’re made of and where you come from. There’s a certain confidence and conviction that cannot be replicated or replaced. It’s a natural result of shedding all that isn’t you. You know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Your next move will always come from you.
You just know yourself. And that means: You’re no longer second guessing yourself. You’re no longer doubting yourself. You’re no longer looking for or seeking anything outside of you.
And it’s because you remembered something within yourself that nobody can take from you or even validate for you – and that’s your essence.
Reason #3: When you work with your essence, you learn how to co-create with life in a whole new way, because you’re intention-focused not outcome-focused.
One of the foundational principles of The Money Methods is living with intention, which means dropping the need to focus on outcomes. And I think this is where a lot of people get stuck with their manifestations.
The old paradigm of manifesting requires that we get really clear, really specific about our desires and focus only on them and generate the internal “knowing” that that specific thing is ours. Yet there are a few ways that focusing on the outcome can be detrimental.
Firstly, when we get hung up on an outcome or a specific result, we have a tendency to cling. We cling onto all of the aspects of it and the outcome becomes an expectation. But part of manifesting requires that we detach ourselves from the specific outcome so that we are no longer chasing it. Our happiness isn’t dependent on it. We are happy no matter what because who we are – our essence – is worth more than that specific thing.
Secondly, when we focus on an outcome or a specific result, we get hyper focused on “getting” something versus experiencing it. What matters more is who we became in the process of receiving it. What matters more is what we learned about ourselves and others while we were taking the action steps towards it. What matters more is that the act of co-creation is creating life itself. It’s not the end result of the creation that we desire. It’s the creative process that brings us the most fulfillment.
Finally, when we are so attached to an outcome or specific result, we are out of integrity with our purpose. You have a higher purpose that was instilled within you by a higher power. That’s why it’s called a calling – your soul path and career path are uniquely intertwined. It’s not only what you do. It’s who you are, and so you must move with integrity towards what you want to experience based on what you value. Your purpose doesn’t ask for a final product. It asks you to move towards it, regardless of how it turns out.
When you move with intention, instead of with a specific outcome in mind, you not only release the pressure valve that is full of constriction and expectations and fears, but you allow yourself to fully engage in the process of co-creation which is actually the experience, not the outcome itself.
Reason #4: When you work with your essence, you’re breaking chains of old pain, patterns and programming which allows you to step into the version of you who wins.
This means you’re no longer in a losing battle against yourself and the world, which a lot of people tend to be stuck in when they’re still operating from old and outdated pain, patterns and programming.
Let’s drill down into the specific chains you’re breaking.

Doing this not only gives you clarity, it gives you the confidence and the conviction to express your essence. Your essence is the thing that shines, and we need to tap into that in order to make it happen.

As we see more of our inherent value, and therefore understand our true worth, we simultaneously allow our higher self to integrate into us. Knowing our value and our worth is what drives us. It’s what moves us in a way that is free.
Because listen: your essence is free. Free from doubt. Free from fear. Free from judgement.
Imposter syndrome, comparisonities, all of the things that held you back simply don’t anymore. You are able to express yourself to your fullest, because you’ve brought your energy to its max. And, you’ve integrated the one thing into yourself that will now be in the driver seat: your higher self.
Because your essence *is* your higher self. It’s your highest frequency. It’s your heaven on Earth.

It doesn’t come from you being more joyful, more strategic, more positive, more grateful, more spiritual, more practical…
It comes from you being more true.
Your most authentic self is the greatest version of you.
And it’s buried under so much BS…

The universe doesn’t want you to do more fake crap. It’s asking you to be more true.
It’s asking you to shed everything that you’re not so that you can shine as the beacon of light that you are.
